Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are mostly faithful remakes to the Generation IV games that originally came out on the Nintendo DS back in 2006. It follows the story of a society pivoting away from peaceful coexistence with witches to a sort of medieval-influenced quantum leap into the information age.
